The Park and Recreation of City of Sugar Land organize a Cultural Kite Festival each year in springtime. It is a great opportunity to introduce ourselves and our beautiful culture and heritage to the citizens of the Sugar Land.

The Houston Double Tenth Centennial Celebration Committee is proud to involve and support this event. Please come as one or come as 10 with friends and family to enjoy the lovely spring at park on Saturday, March 12 to try your new skill to fly “the one and the only kind” of - ROC flag kites to the blue sky. Only 30 flag kites are available to be distributed at the first come first serve basis with your small donation. DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO FLY A R.O.C. FLAG KITE.

From Houston:
Take 59 South towards Sugar Land. Exit University Blvd. Take a Left onto University Blvd. The park will be on your right hand side at the T-intersection with Commonwealth Blvd.
From Richmond/Rosenberg:
Take 59 North towards Sugar Land. Once you go over the Brazos River, take the University Blvd. exit. Take a Right onto University Blvd. The park will be on your right hand side at the T-intersection with Commonwealth Blvd.
