Two personal documentaries explore the meaning of home while offering revealing insights into the lives of 30-something single Iranian males. Avant-garde artist/filmmaker Akbari (20 FINGERS, 10 + 4), star of Kiarostami’s TEN, focuses on the body as a sometimes deceptive façade for the soul in an unusual narrative of close encounters through overheard calls and one-on-one disclosures.
